Treat was born under the official name Williams, Richard Treat on December 1st, 1951. He has been a credited actor since the 1976 film The Eagle Has Landed.

Treat Williams is a dependable leading actor. He has starred in three films including the 1998 action film Deep Rising as the character John Finnegan, the 1988 action movie Dead Heat playing Roger Mortis and the 1981 crime release Prince of the City cast as Daniel Ciello.

Treat has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in sixteen films including: the 2014 comedy film Barefoot as the character Mr. Wheeler, the 2014 action movie In the Blood playing Robert Grant and the 2010 adventure release 127 Hours cast as Aron's Dad.
