Tracey was born under the official name Ullman, Trace on December 30th, 1959. She has been a credited actor since the 1984 film Give My Regards to Broad Street.

To date, Tracey has only starred in the 2004 comedy movie A Dirty Shame. Tracey Ullman has yet to establish a position as a bankable star.

Tracey has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. She has appeared in ten films including: the 2007 comedy film I Could Never Be Your Woman as the character Mother Nature, the 2005 animation movie Corpse Bride playing Nell Van Dort and the 2005 animation release Corpse Bride cast as Hildegarde.

Her most commercially successful project to date has been the 2005 animation film Corpse Bride, which brought in $53,000,000 at the box office.

Tracey is a fan favorite, having been , captured in more than three pictorials, interviewed in over four publications and featured in nine magazine articles.
