Tim was born on May 11th, 1964. He has been a credited actor since the 2000 film O Brother, Where Art Thou?.

Tim has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in fourteen films including: the 2012 biography film Lincoln as the character Richard Schell, the 2011 comedy movie Flypaper playing Billy Ray 'Peanut Butter' McCloud and the 2009 comedy release Leaves of Grass cast as Bolger.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 2004 comedy film Meet the Fockers, which brought in $279,000,000 at the box office.

Tim Blake Nelson has directed on numerous occassions including: O (2001), The Grey Zone (2001) and Leaves of Grass (2009). In 2001 Tim Blake Nelson produced his first movie, the drama film The Grey Zone. Since then he went on to produce four movies including: Leaves of Grass (2009) and Seasons of Dust (2015) among others .

Tim has stayed out of the media limelight, having been featured on the cover of at least one magazines.
