Sean was born under the official name Connery, Thomas Sean on August 25th, 1930. Known to his close friends as Big Tam (as a teenager), he has been a credited actor since the 1962 film The Longest Day.

Sean Connery is among a small handful of elite super star actors with global appeal. He has starred in twenty-four films including the 2003 action film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen as the character Allan Quatermain, the 2000 drama movie Finding Forrester playing William Forrester and the 1999 action release Entrapment cast as Robert MacDougal.

Sean has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in twelve films including: the 1998 comedy film Playing by Heart as the character Paul, the 1998 action movie The Avengers playing Sir August de Wynter and the 1994 comedy release A Good Man in Africa cast as Dr. Alex Murray.

Sean Connery has earned salaries up to $20,000,000 for his acting and also participates in back end. His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1989 action film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which brought in $197,000,000 at the box office.
