Ronny was born under the official name Cox, Daniel Ronald on July 23rd, 1938. He has been a credited actor since the 1972 film Deliverance.

Ronny has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in eleven films including: the 2009 comedy film Imagine That as the character Tom Stevens, the 2002 drama movie Crazy as Hell playing Delazo and the 2001 action release American Outlaws cast as Doc Mimms, Zee's Dad.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1984 action film Beverly Hills Cop, which brought in $230,000,000 at the box office.

Ronny has stayed out of the media limelight, having been featured on the cover of at least one magazines, interviewed in over three publications and featured in one magazine article. He has been the subject of at least one book.
