Richard was born under the official name Crenna, Richard Donald on November 30th, 1926. He died on January 17th, 2003 in Los Angeles, California, USA (pancreatic cancer). He has been a credited actor since the 1965 film John Goldfarb, Please Come Home!.

Richard has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in eleven films including: the 1995 action film Jade as the character Governor Edwards, the 1995 comedy movie Sabrina playing Patrick Tyson and the 1988 action release Rambo III cast as Col. Samuel Trautman.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1985 action film Rambo: First Blood Part II, which brought in $150,000,000 at the box office.

Richard has stayed out of the media limelight, having been featured in four magazine articles.
