Lynn was born under the official name Redgrave, Lynn Rachel on March 8th, 1943. She died on May 2nd, 2010 in Kent, Connecticut, USA (breast cancer). She has been a credited actor since the 1972 film Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex * But Were Afraid to Ask.

Lynn was a recognizable supporting cast member who's acting range makes her the top choice for a variety of roles. She has appeared in eight films including: the 2005 drama film The White Countess as the character Olga Belinskya, the 2003 adventure movie Peter Pan playing Aunt Millicent and the 2002 drama release Spider cast as Mrs. Wilkinson.

Her most commercially successful project to date has been the 2003 adventure film Peter Pan, which brought in $48,000,000 at the box office.

Lynn is a fan favorite, having been featured on the cover of at least two magazines, captured in more than six pictorials, interviewed in over three publications and featured in eleven magazine articles.

As an actor Lynn Redgrave has been recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Art and Sciences on two occasions. Her first nomination was for Best Actress for her portrayal of Georgy Parkin in the 1966 film Georgy Girl. Lynn Redgrave was also nominated for Best Actress In A Supporting Role for her role as Hanna in the 1998 movie Gods and Monsters .
