LL was born under the official name Smith, James Todd on January 14th, 1968. Known to his close friends as Uncle L, he has been a credited actor since the 1995 film Out-of-Sync.
LL Cool J has yet to establish a position as a bankable star. He has starred in two films including the 2001 comedy movie Kingdom Come as the character Ray Bud Slocumb and the 1995 crime film Out-of-Sync playing Jason St. Julian.
