Karl was born under the official name Sekulovich, Mladen George on March 22nd, 1912. He died on July 1st, 2009 in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California, USA (natural causes). He has been a credited actor since the 1951 film A Streetcar Named Desire.

Karl has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in eleven films including: the 1987 drama film Nuts as the character Arthur Kirk, the 1979 action movie Meteor playing Harry Sherwood and the 1971 mystery release Il gatto a nove code cast as Franco Arnò.
