John was born under the official name Neville, John Reginald on May 2nd, 1925. He died on November 19th, 2011 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Alzheimer's disease). He has been a credited actor since the 1988 film The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

To date, John has only starred in the 1988 adventure movie The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. John Neville has yet to establish a position as a bankable star.

John has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in twelve films including: the 2003 comedy film Hollywood North as the character Henry Neville, the 2003 comedy movie Moving Malcolm playing Malcolm Woodward and the 2003 drama release The Statement cast as Old Man.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1998 mystery film The X Files, which brought in $84,000,000 at the box office.

John has stayed out of the media limelight, having been featured on the cover of at least three magazines and interviewed in over two publications.
