John was born under the official name Reilly, John Christopher on May 24th, 1965. He has been a credited actor since the 1989 film Casualties of War.

John C. Reilly is a dependable leading actor. He has starred in three films including the 2012 adventure film Wreck-It Ralph as the character Ralph, the 2010 comedy movie Cyrus playing John and the 2009 action release Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant cast as Crepsley.

John has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in thirty films including: the 2015 fantasy film Il racconto dei racconti as the character King of Longtrellis, the 2014 comedy movie Life After Beth playing Maury Slocum and the 2014 action release Guardians of the Galaxy cast as Corpsman Dey.
