John was born under the official name McGinley, John Christopher on August 3rd, 1959. Known to his close friends as Johnny C, he has been a credited actor since the 1986 film Platoon.

To date, John has only starred in the 2006 comedy movie Two Tickets to Paradise. John C. McGinley has yet to establish a position as a bankable star.

John has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers.
