Jason was born under the official name Mewes, Jason Edward on June 12th, 1974. Known to his close friends as Chronic, he has been a credited actor since the 1995 film Mallrats.

Jason Mewes is a dependable leading actor. He has starred in four films including the 2015 action film Vigilante Diaries as the character Michael Hanover, the 2014 horror movie Devil's Tower playing Sid and the 2012 horror release The Watermen cast as Trailor.

Jason is a recognizable supporting cast member who's acting range makes him the top choice for a variety of roles. He has appeared in nine films including: the 2014 action film Book of Fire as the character Fast Eddie, the 2012 animation movie Noah playing Ham and the 2012 comedy release Rock Jocks cast as Guard 2.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 2001 comedy film Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, which brought in $30,000,000 at the box office.

In 2014 Jason Mewes produced his first movie, the comedy film Tusk. Since then he went on to produce the action film Vigilante Diaries in 2015.

Jason has stayed out of the media limelight, having been interviewed in over one publications and featured in four magazine articles.
