George was born under the official name Jr., George Segal on February 13th, 1934. He has been a credited actor since the 1966 film Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.

To date, George has only starred in the 1977 comedy movie Fun with Dick and Jane. George Segal has yet to establish a position as a bankable star.

George has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in twelve films including: the 2014 comedy film Elsa & Fred as the character John, the 2010 comedy movie Love & Other Drugs playing Dr. James Randall and the 2007 comedy release Three Days to Vegas cast as Dominic Spinuzzi.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1989 comedy film Look Who's Talking, which brought in $140,000,000 at the box office.

George has garnered moderate media attention, having been featured on the cover of at least one magazines, captured in more than four pictorials, interviewed in over one publications and featured in one magazine article.

As an actor George Segal has been recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Art and Sciences on one occasion. He was nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor In A Supporting Role for his role as Nick in the 1966 movie Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.
