Fernando was born under the official name Arambillet, Fernando Casado on September 20th, 1917. He died on March 9th, 1994 in Madrid, Spain (bladder cancer). He has been a credited actor since the 1970 film The Adventurers.

Fernando was a recognizable supporting cast member who's acting range makes him the top choice for a variety of roles. He has appeared in seven films including: the 1992 adventure film 1492: Conquest of Paradise as the character Marchena, the 1988 comedy movie Moon Over Parador playing Alejandro and the 1986 comedy release Saving Grace cast as Cardinal Stefano Biondi.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1971 action film The French Connection, which brought in $52,000,000 at the box office.

Fernando has stayed out of the media limelight, having been captured in more than one pictorials.
