David was born under the official name Hemmings, David Leslie Edward on November 18th, 1941. He died on December 3rd, 2003 in Bucharest, Romania (heart attack). He has been a credited actor since the 1966 film Blowup.

David was a recognizable supporting cast member who's acting range makes him the top choice for a variety of roles. He has appeared in eight films including: the 2003 action film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen as the character Nigel, the 2001 drama movie Last Orders playing Lenny and the 2001 comedy release Mean Machine cast as Governor.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 2003 action film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which brought in $66,000,000 at the box office.

Beyond acting, David Hemmings was the director of the 1981 movie action Race for the Yankee Zephyr. In 1981 David Hemmings produced his first movie, the film Prisoners. Since then he went on to produce three movies including: Race for the Yankee Zephyr (1981) and Turkey Shoot (1982) .

David is a fan favorite, having been featured on the cover of at least one magazines, captured in more than three pictorials and featured in twelve magazine articles.
