David was born under the official name Carradine, John Arthur on December 8th, 1936. He died on June 3rd, 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand (accidental asphyxiation). Known to his close friends as Mr. Cool, he has been a credited actor since the 1978 film Circle of Iron.
