Danny was born under the official name Jr., Daniel Michael DeVito on November 17th, 1944. He has been a credited actor since the 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Danny DeVito is a dependable leading actor. He has starred in five films including the 2012 animation film The Lorax as the character The Lorax, the 2000 comedy movie Drowning Mona playing Chief Wyatt Rash and the 1994 comedy release Renaissance Man cast as Bill Rago.

Danny has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in thirty films including: the 2011 comedy film Girl Walks Into a Bar as the character Aldo, the 2009 comedy movie Solitary Man playing Jimmy Merino and the 2007 comedy release Nobel Son cast as George Gastner.

Danny DeVito has earned salaries up to $5,000,000 for his acting. His most commercially successful project to date has been the 2012 animation film The Lorax, which brought in $214,000,000 at the box office.

Danny DeVito has directed on numerous occassions including: Throw Momma from the Train (1987), Hoffa (1992) and Matilda (1996). In 1992 Danny DeVito produced his first movie, the biography film Hoffa. Since then he went on to produce eighteen movies including: Pulp Fiction (1994) and 8 Seconds (1994) among others .

Danny is a fan favorite, having been featured on the cover of at least five magazines, captured in more than four pictorials, interviewed in over twelve publications and featured in seven magazine articles.
