Dane was born under the official name Cook, Dane Jeffrey on March 18th, 1972. Known to his close friends as The Enunciator, he has been a credited actor since the 1999 film Simon Sez.

Dane Cook is a dependable leading actor. He has starred in four films including the 2014 adventure film Planes: Fire & Rescue as the character Dusty Crophopper, the 2013 adventure movie Planes playing Dusty Crophopper and the 2008 comedy release My Best Friend's Girl cast as Tank.

Dane is a recognizable supporting cast member who's acting range makes him the top choice for a variety of roles. He has appeared in six films including: the 2007 crime film Mr. Brooks as the character Mr. Smith, the 2007 comedy movie Good Luck Chuck playing Charlie and the 2007 comedy release Dan in Real Life cast as Mitch.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 2013 adventure film Planes, which brought in $90,000,000 at the box office.

In 2015 Dane Cook produced his first movie, the sci-fi film 400 Days.

Dane has stayed out of the media limelight, having been featured in four magazine articles.
