Colin was born under the official name Dillingham, Colin Lewes on November 24th, 1977. He has been a credited actor since the 2000 film Whatever It Takes.

Colin Hanks has yet to establish a position as a bankable star. He has starred in two films including the 2006 crime movie Alone with Her as the character Doug and the 2002 comedy film Orange County playing Shaun Brumder.

Colin has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in ten films including: the 2010 comedy film High School as the character Brandon Ellis, the 2008 comedy movie My Mom's New Boyfriend playing Henry Durand and the 2008 crime release Untraceable cast as Griffin Dowd.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 2005 action film King Kong, which brought in $218,000,000 at the box office.

Beyond acting, Colin Hanks was the director of the 2015 movie documentary All Things Must Pass. In 2005 Colin Hanks produced his first movie, the crime film Rx.

Colin has stayed out of the media limelight, having been interviewed in over one publications and featured in one magazine article.
