Christopher was born on September 25th, 1952. He died on October 10th, 2004 in Mount Kisco, New York, USA (heart failure). Known to his close friends as Chris, he has been a credited actor since the 1978 film Superman.

Christopher Reeve was a bankable leading actor on the silver screen. He has starred in seven films including the 1995 horror film Village of the Damned as the character Dr. Alan Chaffee, the 1993 drama movie Morning Glory playing Will Parker and the 1987 action release Superman IV: The Quest for Peace cast as Clark Kent.

Christopher was a recognizable supporting cast member who's acting range makes him the top choice for a variety of roles. He has appeared in eight films including: the 1993 drama film The Remains of the Day as the character Jack Lewis, the 1992 comedy movie Noises Off... playing Frederick Dallas and the 1992 comedy release Noises Off... cast as Philip Brent.

Christopher Reeve has earned salaries up to $1,000,000 for his acting. His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1980 action film Superman II, which brought in $101,000,000 at the box office.

Christopher is a cultural icon, having been featured on the cover of at least seventeen magazines, captured in more than nine pictorials, interviewed in over eight publications and featured in forty-five magazine articles. He has been the subject of at least three books. He has been the subject of at least one biographical film.
