Celia was born under the official name Imrie, Celia Diana Savile on July 15th, 1952. Known to her close friends as Impy, she has been a credited actor since the 1994 film Frankenstein.

Celia is a recognizable supporting cast member who's acting range makes her the top choice for a variety of roles. She has appeared in nine films including: the 2005 drama film Wah-Wah as the character Lady Riva Hardwick, the 2004 comedy movie Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason playing Una Alconbury and the 2003 comedy release Calendar Girls cast as Celia.

Her most commercially successful project to date has been the 2001 comedy film Bridget Jones's Diary, which brought in $72,000,000 at the box office.

Celia has stayed out of the media limelight, having been featured on the cover of at least one magazines and featured in one magazine article. She has been the subject of at least one book.
