Cary-Hiroyuki was born on September 27th, 1950. He has been a credited actor since the 1987 film The Last Emperor.

To date, Cary-Hiroyuki has only starred in the 2014 action movie Duel of Legends. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa has yet to establish a position as a bankable star.

Cary-Hiroyuki has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in nineteen films including: the 2015 comedy film Little Boy as the character Hashimoto, the 2013 action movie 47 Ronin playing Shogun Tsunayoshi and the 2010 action release Tekken cast as Heihachi Mishima.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 2001 action film Planet of the Apes, which brought in $180,000,000 at the box office.

In 2014 Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa produced his first movie, the action film Duel of Legends.

Cary-Hiroyuki has stayed out of the media limelight, having been featured on the cover of at least one magazines.
