Bruce was born under the official name Greenwood, Stuart Bruce on August 12th, 1956. He has been a credited actor since the 1992 film Passenger 57.

Bruce Greenwood has yet to establish a position as a bankable star. He has starred in two films including the 2005 adventure movie Mee-Shee: The Water Giant as the character Sean Cambell and the 2002 comedy film Swept Away playing Tony.

Bruce has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers.
