Bill was born under the official name Paxton, William on May 17th, 1955. Known to his close friends as Wild Bill, he has been a credited actor since the 1984 film Streets of Fire.

Bill Paxton is a dependable leading actor. He has starred in four films including the 2003 documentary film Ghosts of the Abyss as the character Himself, the 2001 crime movie Frailty playing Dad Meiks and the 1998 crime release A Simple Plan cast as Hank.

Bill has made such a successful career in supporting roles, that it actually surpasses most leading actor's careers. He has appeared in twenty films including: the 2014 action film Edge of Tomorrow as the character Master Sergeant Farell, the 2014 crime movie Nightcrawler playing Joe Loder and the 2014 biography release Million Dollar Arm cast as Tom House.

His most commercially successful project to date has been the 1997 drama film Titanic, which brought in $659,000,000 at the box office.

Beyond acting, Bill Paxton was the director of the 2001 movie crime Frailty. In 2007 Bill Paxton produced his first movie, the comedy film The Good Life. Since then he went on to produce the drama film Parkland in 2013.

Bill is a fan favorite, having been featured on the cover of at least one magazines, interviewed in over nine publications and featured in seven magazine articles.
