Artie was born under the official name Jr., Arthur Steven Lange on October 11th, 1967. He has been a credited actor since the 1998 film Dirty Work.

To date, Artie has only starred in the 2006 comedy movie Beer League. Artie Lange has yet to establish a position as a bankable star.

Artie is a dependable supporting cast member. He has appeared in four films including: the 1999 action film Mystery Men as the character Big Red, the 1999 comedy movie The Bachelor playing Marco and the 1999 comedy release Lost & Found cast as Wally.
